I decided to change it up a little bit today. After all, not every single picture in October needs to be spooky or scary, right?
So this image is of something new that I bought this year. This pumpkin is actually genuine Polish pottery. A group of army wives from my company and I took a trip over the border for pottery shopping a couple of weeks ago, and when I saw this guy I just fell in love with his charm. I especially loved his pattern, which had all of the elements of Halloween without being intimidating at all!

“Tis the night—the night
Of the grave’s delight,
And the warlocks are at their play;
Ye think that without,
The wild winds shout,
But no, it is they—it is they!”
― Arthur Cleveland Coxe
I really like that, what a beautiful Jack – and it can be used again and again unlike a pumpkin. The pattern is spot on 🙂
