So my hubby and I wandered off again. 🙂 This time we found ourselves in Edinburgh, Scotland, and wow! Did we have a blast! There are a bunch of pictures I would love to to share with you, it was hard to choose just one to start with!
I decided on this particular shot from the Holyrood Abbey. After we took the castle tour, which I’m not gonna talk about here because I have other pictures of the palace I might want to use later, we walked out into the Abbey. Now it is falling down around us… it was originally founded in 1128 after all. However, as soon we entered I was just completely filled with awe. It is so beautiful, even in the ruined state, that I can’t even imagine what it looked like completed.
