Unfold Me!

Well I thought that for today we would get back to the more creative side of my pictures. 🙂

This image is from my book inventory. I post another one a few weeks ago of some of the spiral notebooks that I had made for the same event. This book, however, is a little bit different. It is called a flower fold book, because the inward triangles that get folded in kind of look like petals. Instead of turning pages, like a normal style book, these little guys fold out kind of like accordions. At the craft fair, they were actually pretty big sellers with the kids. Something that is kind of fun to play with I guess. It is just kind of refreshing to introduce them to something they haven’t seen before and maybe change their interpretation of what qualifies for a book.

“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.” ― Charles William Eliot
