Crossing the Bridge

I thought we would go back to Prague for the picture. This is St. Charles Bridge, and is the most famous bridge in the city. It was built in 1357 by  King Charles IV. I really loved the beautiful structure and the rich gothic style. Though my favorite thing about it was the creepy stories to go with it.  There are a number of ghosts that are said to haunt the bridge, and in the 1600s it was used to show the severed heads of resistance leaders. Interesting isn’t it?
