Fresh is Best

Last night my husband and I decided to do something different. Normally we take turns making each other dinner. It just tends to be that there are recipes he is really awesome at, and there are recipes that are kind of my speciality, so we don’t like to step on each other’s toes. Last night, however, we found a recipe online and then cooked together.

The recipe was AMAZING. It is made with all fresh ingredients: Fresh garlic, sautéed in olive oil, then mixed with cherry tomatoes. At this point we changed it a little. Instead of adding another cup of tomatos, we cut up red and green olives and added them. As we cooked the pasta, we mixed in fresh chopped basil and grated a bunch of the good parmesan cheese into the olives, tomatos, and garlic. Then we added the pasta. It was so simple, but all of the tastes went together marvelous. Plus it photographed pretty well too.
