When I say an Artist’s tool, you no doubt thought of pencils or paintbrushes. I think I would have too, up until last year. When I got my first tattoo, then I really started to understand the time and work that goes into creating this image. A tattoo artist turns skin into canvas, and needles and ink into instruments that can create something beautiful. Something to last through the years. I got a huge appreciation for it.
I took this picture when my husband was getting ready to get his outline done on his back while the artist was getting everything ready. I think my love for the image is definitely spurred by the transformation that seems to come out of the tools, but I think that it is still strong with the rich gold and good depth of field.
