I love action shots. When I was working on my undergrad, I was actually a photographer for the school paper. It worked out well because I got the opportunity to practice a lot of different kinds of photography. My favorite was sports photography. If I can find them, I’m sure that they will pop up eventually on here. Soccer and baseball were my favorites, though I did do work with swimming, volleyball, and basketball.
This picture was an action-filled shot from the same time period as my college work. It is from the Ohio Renaissance Festival joust. I really enjoy the intensity of this shot. The one thing I don’t like about it was the fact that I was shooting in bright sunlight. It made it hard to really get a lot of detail, and gave me heavy shadows.
