Rusted Away

Probably the most exciting part of our Scuba Adventures in Thailand for me was when out instructor let me use and experiment with his underwater camera. Sure, it was part of my advanced course… but it still gave me something to think about other then how much my ears were hurting. (As a side note, I also love how easy it is to white balance underwater!)

I was lucky enough to get the camera while we were diving an underwater wreck. This picture is a close up on a piece of the hull of the ship. The metal is rusted and starting to become over-run with sea life. The best part was the holes that had rusted through. If you look closely, you can see water and a fish through them!

Camera: (I think.. since it wasn’t my camera) Canon PowerShot SX500

Date: November 2012

Location: Phi Phi Islands, Thailand
