Yay Flowers! 🙂

This particular marigold was from my own house and my own garden. I absolutely loved the yellow! That is what inspired me to shoot it in the first place. To change it up, I also shot this with a macro lens. I wanted to try and experiment with the beautiful blur you can get. It created a nice, warm brown in the background that was still dark enough to offset the vibrance of the color. I especially liked the texture and multitude of the petals. It looks so soft!
